Large-format scanning is the conversion of oversized physical documents – A0, A1 and A2 architectural plans, engineering drawings, surveys, maps and artwork – into high-quality digital files such as PDF, TIFF or JPEG. Orange Print scans every job in-house in Singapore, so your originals never leave our facility and your files come back clean, consistent and ready to share.
We scan on a Canon imagePROGRAF TZ-5320, a multi-function large-format unit. Because the same machine plot-prints, large-format copies and scans, you can scan an old drawing and reprint fresh copies in a single visit. Architects, M&E and civil engineers, surveyors and construction teams use the service to digitise existing drawing sets for archiving, sharing and reissue – turning fragile rolled paper into files you can store, email and reprint on demand.
We handle A2, A1 and A0 sheets in black and white or full colour at 300 dpi – the standard for CAD plans, drawings and archival. Output is delivered as PDF, TIFF or JPEG, whichever suits your workflow. Smaller sizes (A5 to A3), high-resolution 600 dpi+ artwork reproduction, and oversized or unusual originals are all available on request as a custom quote.
Priced per sheet, with discounts that apply automatically by quantity.
| Size | Black and white | Colour |
|---|---|---|
| A2 (420 x 594 mm) | from S$1.30/sheet | from S$2.40/sheet |
| A1 (594 x 841 mm) | from S$2.20/sheet | from S$4.00/sheet |
| A0 (841 x 1189 mm) | from S$3.30/sheet | from S$6.00/sheet |
The more sheets you scan, the lower the per-sheet rate, with breaks at 10 and 51 sheets:
For example, scanning 13 x A1 black and white CAD drawings at the mid-volume rate works out to S$2.80 per sheet, or S$36.40 for the set.
Need A5, A4 or A3 scanned, fine artwork at 600 dpi or higher, or something larger than A0? We handle all of these as a custom quote – send us the details and we’ll price it the same working day.
Choose PDF (most common for CAD plans and archiving), TIFF (reproduction-grade) or JPEG. By default we deliver your scans through a private Google Drive download link, organised into a dated folder and available for 30 days. Prefer physical media? A thumb drive is available on request. We keep your files clearly named – a sequential name or your own job reference is included. Descriptive, title-block-based file naming (indexing) is available as an add-on for larger archival sets.
Standard turnaround is 2-3 working days, depending on volume. Need it faster? Same-day and rush scanning is available on request – tell us when you enquire and we’ll confirm the slot.
