What is document printing?

Document printing is the on-demand production of single or multi-page paper documents — reports, course notes, training manuals, theses, contracts, flyers, certificates, and personal records — printed in colour or black and white from a digital file. At Orange Print, we produce documents at our Sembawang facility on commercial digital presses, with binding finished in-house on the same day where possible.

Who prints documents with us

In a typical month we print university theses for final-year students, training manuals for SME L&D teams, course notes for tuition centres, contract bundles for legal admin staff, and one-off reports for personal use. The price calculator is built for both ends of the range — a single A4 print or a multi-hundred-page bound run.

Same-day document printing in Singapore — when it works, when it doesn’t

Same-day document printing in Singapore is possible at Orange Print when the job is placed before midday on a working day, the file is print-ready, and binding is light (staple or plastic ring). Heavy jobs over 200 pages, perfect-bind work, or runs scheduled for the same afternoon during peak weeks may slip to next-day. WhatsApp +65 8438 1313 before you order to confirm.

What helps a same-day job through

  • Upload a press-ready PDF in CMYK at 300 DPI — no last-minute file fixes.
  • Choose staple or plastic ring binding — both are finished in minutes.
  • Place the order before 12 noon Monday to Friday.
  • Tell us in the Remarks field that you need it today, with your preferred collection time.

We’re open Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Saturday is by appointment only. Closed Sundays and public holidays.

Binding options — capacity at a glance

Binding at Orange Print covers the full range of document finishes, from a simple corner staple to a perfect-bound thesis. Each style has a different page-count ceiling and a different “feel” — saddle stitch suits short colour books; Wire O lays flat for training manuals; perfect bind looks like a paperback. Use the table below to pick before you check out.

For booklet-style finishes we also produce dedicated saddle-stitch booklets and perfect-bind booklets — better unit pricing on volume runs.

Preparing your PDF so the print matches the screen

PDF preparation for document printing in Singapore comes down to four things: export as PDF (not Word), set colours to CMYK (not RGB), keep image resolution at 300 DPI, and leave a 4 mm safe zone inside the trim edge. Files in RGB will shift on press — blues turn purple, greens turn flat. We check every file before printing and flag issues before billing.

Pre-flight checklist

  • File format: PDF (preferred), or PDF/X-1a for press-ready exports.
  • Colour mode: CMYK for accurate colour. RGB files will be converted and may shift.
  • Resolution: 300 DPI minimum for photos, 600 DPI for line art.
  • Safe zone: 4 mm from trim edge for all text and key visuals.
  • Upload limit: 20 MB at checkout. Larger files? Paste a Google Drive / WeTransfer link in Remarks.

If a file fails our check, we send a short WhatsApp note explaining the fix — no printing happens until you approve.

Where can I print documents near me in Singapore?

Do you offer same-day document printing?

Yes — same-day document printing is available on most jobs placed before midday on a working day, with light binding (staple or plastic ring) and a press-ready PDF. WhatsApp +65 8438 1313 before you order to confirm capacity for your specific job, especially during exam, AGM, and end-of-quarter peaks.

Can I print just one or two pages?

Yes. Orange Print has no minimum quantity for document printing — print one page or one thousand. A minimum order of S$3 applies on small jobs, which covers about 50 B&W A4 pages. Self-collection in Sembawang is the fastest route for very small jobs and avoids any delivery quote.

What file format do you need?

PDF is preferred — ideally exported as PDF/X-1a in CMYK at 300 DPI with a 4 mm safe zone inside the trim edge. Word files print but may reflow. Upload up to 20 MB at checkout, or paste a Google Drive / WeTransfer link in the Remarks field for larger files. We check every file before printing.

Can you print and bind documents together?

Yes. Choose at checkout from staple, plastic ring (up to 400 pages), Wire O (up to 150 pages), saddle stitch (up to 60 pages), or perfect bind (up to 600 pages). Each binding has a different page ceiling and lay-flat behaviour — see the table above. Same-day finishing is realistic on staple and plastic ring jobs.
