Saddle stitch is a booklet binding method where folded sheets are stapled through the spine with two wire staples. It’s the most cost-effective option for booklets of 8 to 80 pages and works well for catalogues, programmes, manuals and brochures. Page count must always be a multiple of 4.
Saddle stitched booklets work best between 8 and 80 pages. Below 8 pages, a folded leaflet is usually more appropriate. Above 80 pages, the spine becomes too thick to sit flat — we recommend perfect binding or hard cover instead. Your page count must be a multiple of 4.
Our saddle stitch service (offset printing) runs from 300 to 100,000 copies. For smaller runs of 1 to 500 copies, use our Short Run Booklet service, which is digitally printed and better suited to small quantities including single prototype copies.
Pricing depends on size, page count, cover and content paper, quantity, and any add-ons like Spot UV or embossing. Use the instant price calculator on this page — select your specs and see the total before ordering. For runs above 100,000 copies, contact us for a bulk quote.
Saddle stitch uses staples through the spine fold — faster, cheaper, best for 8–80 pages. Perfect bind glues a flat spine — works for thicker books above 80 pages, like annual reports and magazines. If your page count is over 80, switch to perfect bind or hard cover.
Same-day and next-day options are available for smaller runs — livechat or WhatsApp us at +65 8438 1313 to check capacity. Normal turnaround is 5–7 working days for runs up to 5,000 booklets. Finishing add-ons like Spot UV add 1–3 process days.
Yes — we print Qurans, prayer books, song books and community newsletters regularly. The calculator has a specific option for Quran orders. For longer religious texts above 80 pages, we recommend perfect bind or hard cover instead.
