Which booklet service suits your run size

  • 1 to 500 copies → use our Short Run Booklet service (digital print, faster and better-value on small runs)
  • 300 to 100,000 copies → this saddle stitch service (offset print, sharper on solids, better value at volume)
  • Overlap 300–500 copies → both services will quote. Offset saddle stitch gives sharper ink lay-down on solid colours and tighter colour consistency across the run; digital short run is faster and better if you need it urgently or want variable data. Livechat us if you’re unsure which fits your job
  • Books over 80 pages → saddle stitch won’t lie flat above 80 pages; switch to Perfect Bind or Hard Cover

Binding & finishing options

  • Saddle stitch — two wire staples through the spine fold; suits 8–80 pages; lies reasonably flat; best for programmes, catalogues, thinner manuals
  • Spot UV (add-on) — glossy raised finish on specific design elements; adds 1–3 process days depending on run size
  • Embossing (add-on) — raised design element on the cover; seven preset panel sizes available
  • Hot stamping (add-on) — metallic foil (black, blue, gold, green, red, silver) applied to the cover; up to two colours and sizes per design

Frequently Asked Questions

What is saddle stitch booklet printing?

Saddle stitch is a booklet binding method where folded sheets are stapled through the spine with two wire staples. It’s the most cost-effective option for booklets of 8 to 80 pages and works well for catalogues, programmes, manuals and brochures. Page count must always be a multiple of 4.

How many pages can a saddle stitched booklet have?

Saddle stitched booklets work best between 8 and 80 pages. Below 8 pages, a folded leaflet is usually more appropriate. Above 80 pages, the spine becomes too thick to sit flat — we recommend perfect binding or hard cover instead. Your page count must be a multiple of 4.

What is the minimum order for saddle stitch booklet printing in Singapore?

Our saddle stitch service (offset printing) runs from 300 to 100,000 copies. For smaller runs of 1 to 500 copies, use our Short Run Booklet service, which is digitally printed and better suited to small quantities including single prototype copies.

How much does saddle stitch booklet printing cost in Singapore?

Pricing depends on size, page count, cover and content paper, quantity, and any add-ons like Spot UV or embossing. Use the instant price calculator on this page — select your specs and see the total before ordering. For runs above 100,000 copies, contact us for a bulk quote.

What’s the difference between saddle stitch and perfect bind?

Saddle stitch uses staples through the spine fold — faster, cheaper, best for 8–80 pages. Perfect bind glues a flat spine — works for thicker books above 80 pages, like annual reports and magazines. If your page count is over 80, switch to perfect bind or hard cover.

Do you offer same-day saddle stitch booklet printing?

Same-day and next-day options are available for smaller runs — livechat or WhatsApp us at +65 8438 1313 to check capacity. Normal turnaround is 5–7 working days for runs up to 5,000 booklets. Finishing add-ons like Spot UV add 1–3 process days.

Can I print a Quran or religious book with saddle stitching?

Yes — we print Qurans, prayer books, song books and community newsletters regularly. The calculator has a specific option for Quran orders. For longer religious texts above 80 pages, we recommend perfect bind or hard cover instead.
