Common flyer sizes and paper choices

The right size and paper depends on what your flyer needs to do:

A4 (210 × 297mm) — Most space for content. Common for product brochures, event listings and detailed promotions.

A5 (148 × 210mm) — The Singapore default for general flyers. Cost-effective, easy to hand out, fits in standard letterboxes.

A6 (105 × 148mm) — Postcard-sized. Punchier with less content. Good for coupons, event invites and discount drops.

DL (99 × 210mm) — Long, narrow. Stands out in racks and fits standard envelopes if you’re mailing them.

For paper: 128 gsm gloss is the most popular all-round choice — feels premium, doesn’t crease easily. Step up to 200 gsm or 250 gsm if the flyer will be reused (loyalty card, fridge magnet replacement). Step down to 80–100 gsm woodfree for ultra-high-volume disposable drops where cost matters more than feel.

Distribution rules for flyers in Singapore

If you’re distributing flyers in Singapore, plan around two rules:

• HDB common areas — distributing flyers in HDB lift lobbies, void decks, or under doors generally requires Town Council permission. Without it, you risk fines and your flyers being removed.
• MRT stations and bus interchanges — handing out flyers in or near transit nodes typically requires a permit from the Land Transport Authority or the station operator.

Can I get same-day flyers?

Do you handle artwork design?
We don’t design from scratch but we do free file checks — we’ll flag bleed, safe-zone, low-resolution images and CMYK/RGB issues before printing. If you need design help, we recommend using Canva or hiring a designer first.
