An NCR bill book is a bound set of carbonless forms that copies whatever you write onto the sheets beneath, without messy carbon paper. NCR stands for “No Carbon Required”. Each book holds numbered sets – 2-ply (duplicate), 3-ply (triplicate) or more – so you keep one copy and hand another to the customer. Singapore businesses use them for invoices, receipts, delivery orders and job sheets.

Each part of an Orange Print bill book is printed on 50gsm carbonless (NCR) paper. The top sheet is coated so pen pressure transfers your writing to the sheets below – no carbon paper, no smudging. The standard colour sequence runs white on top, then pink, yellow and beyond, so each copy is easy to tell apart. Books are bound with a manila cover and backing board.
We print your fields and logo in one or two colours, then collate, number, glue and perforate every book in-house. Sequential numbering is included as standard – tell us the start number and we’ll run it in red on each set. Perforation lets the top copy tear out clean while the duplicate stays bound in the book.
Standard turnaround is 5-7 working days for a first-time order and 3-5 working days for repeat orders, subject to the production schedule. Supply bill book artwork as a print-ready PDF at the exact size you’ve selected. Keep text and important fields at least 5mm inside the trim, mark which boxes need to copy through to the lower plies, and tell us where the running number should sit. If you only have an old printed book, send a clear photo or the physical sample and we’ll rebuild the layout for you.

Choose the right size: Ensure your artwork matches the final print size. Common sizes include A4, A5, or custom dimensions. Use our size templates if available.
Include bleed: Extend your artwork 2mm beyond the trim edge to account for any slight cutting errors.
Set margins: Keep important content at least 5mm away from the trim line to avoid it being cut off.
CMYK color mode: Convert your artwork from RGB (or Pantone) to CMYK. This color mode is essential for accurate color reproduction in print.
